Happy 88th Birthday Pop! This years marks 14th birthdays in Heaven. I wish he was here to celebrate. I miss him tons. He was my favorite grandparent.  I have tons of memories with him & my grandma. He was a good man & would do anything for his family. I won't be sappy here. I'll save it for another entry..

So Happy Birthday again Pop! Hope you & grandma are celebrating in style!

November Goals

I think I'm going to try and start doing monthly goals. I try not to make goals in January because by February they're forgotten about.  So maybe if I blog about it, it'll help keep me going...we'll see.

So the first thing I'd like to try is this:

I know November isn't the best time to start this...but if I start 11/1, I'll be able to eat on Thanksgiving without failing. No cookies and no candy will probably be the hardest one of all..

I'd like to go & visit my mom for her birthday.  I haven't seen her since August.

That's the only 2 things I'm going to put down for this month..baby steps, right? I may have to start the 21 days thing come 10/31 so I can have golden corral when we go to moms

Saturday Rambles

What is everyone doing on this gorgeous Fall Saturday?  Hopefully your plans are better than mine.  I'll be working 12pm-8pm with 5 less people than normal on Saturdays. I have a feeling this is going to be a long and stressful day. Hopefully I'll be wrong.

Sadly, tomorrow will be spent the same way as today.  I'm missing out on our nephew's 2nd birthday party (well Mac's nephew) because of it.  I was looking forward to it.  It was at a U-Bounce place in Long Island. There's always next year, right?

1. My most favorite birthday was my 21st birthday. I went out on Valentine's night to have my first drink at midnight with my best friend and a friend of ours. Later that night we went out to a few bars and just had a lot of fun.

2. My worst birthday was my 23rd birthday. My BFF was supposed to meet me & a few other people at my supervisors old bar.  She ditched me to stay with her boyfriend at the time. I wasn't happy and still can't believe she did that to me!

3. My favorite birthday memory is going bowling for my 16th birthday.  My dad was at the time laid off but he took me and two of my friends to dinner and bowling just to make sure we celebrated my birthday.

4. The best birthday present I've ever received was Probably my jewelry from Mac.

5. The best birthday present I've ever given wasHmm.....I am not really sure.....

6. Birthdays are really just another day.  Maybe I'd feel different if people wanted to celebrate with me and went a little out of their way for me on that day..

7. My favorite age so far has been 23.Mac & I both had steady jobs and very little stress in our lives...

Happy 80th Birthday, Grandma!

Today my grandma would of been 80 years old. It's been a little over 6 years since she passed away. She was a wonderful lady. Always allowing me to wear her shoes, teaching me how to make chicken cutlets (only mine STILL don't taste like her) and being my best friend as a little kid.

I miss you Grandma.  Hope you & Pop are celebrating up in Heaven! We'll see you again someday.

Day 11: Things I look forward to in 2011

Today is the last day of the 11 in 2011 challenge. That means I finished my first Blogging challenge!  I had so much fun with this and I hope this is just one of many more I'll do.

Now on to todays topic...

Day 11: What I am Looking Forward to in 2011

Mac & I are going to TRY and take a drive down to Florida.  We want to stop at different places along the way.  It sounds like SOOO much fun & I'm hoping we can pull it off.  I'm sure I'll talk more about this as we continue to figure things out.

My 26th Birthday (February 15th by the way for anyone interested ;)

Since yesterday's post about girls night out came up I've decided that a) it's been WAY too long since a real night out with the girlies  b) it's been too long since I've been at Male Revue c) I've never really gone out and really celebrated my birthday (minus my 21st when I decided to bar hop til 4am with the BFF) that for my birthday I'm going to Male Revue.  I sent out the invitation via facebook yesterday.  So far it's me and 2 maybe 3 other people.  That's okay, small groups are better sometimes.  So February 12th me, my bff and a friend of the fiance will be going to see some good looking men dance for us.  I'm excited.

6th Anniversary

It's a weird number to celebrate but for our 5th anniversary last year we didn't do anything.  Mac was laidoff at the time and money wasn't something we really had to spend, so he's working this year and I'd like to celebrate it (I'm thinking that our trip to Florida would probably be our anniversary gift/trip since it'll cost quite a bit...all the more reason we HAVE to go!)

Mac turns 30!! I have til June to think about what to do for his birthday.  

Some other things I look forward to:

Possibly moving into a bigger place (with my mom and Mac)

Talks about when we're going to TRY and have a baby

Starting school again

Getting a drivers license

Can't wait to see what everyone is looking forward to :)
