I was reading a blog from 2010 where someone had written that
pit bulls should be illegal in NJ. They bought their dog to a dog park and then this big pit came in and attacked this person's dog. I ABSOLUTELY hate how pit bulls get such a bad reputation. As most of you know, we have a pit/lab mix
Does he bite me? Yes, but not hard. Do I bruise? Yes, but I bruise easily. I'm not going to call him a ferocious animal. He's still a puppy that needs some more manners. He really is a good dog (most of the time!) and has never bitten anyone or another dog. Any dog could do the damage of what these breeds do, but the media only focuses on this type of breed right now.
Sooner or later people will figure out that these breeds are one of the most loyal dogs out there. Sir is never too far from me (right now he's under our kitchen table at my feet) and if I'm sad or upset, he'll come up by me and lick me. While he does get on my nerves, I wouldn't trade him for anything (despite what I yell at him when I'm mad lol).
