The time I got an iPhone 4

I finally broke down & got an iPhone 4.  It was only $50 refurbished through Sprint, so I figured I couldn't go wrong. I've been having issues with my android like you wouldn't believe so I finally did it.  Now I need recommendations for apps besides the basics (instagram, pinterest & twitter are a given!) & phone cases (besides Otterbox)

Now all I need is a white iPad & I can match!

Happy 88th Birthday Pop! This years marks 14th birthdays in Heaven. I wish he was here to celebrate. I miss him tons. He was my favorite grandparent.  I have tons of memories with him & my grandma. He was a good man & would do anything for his family. I won't be sappy here. I'll save it for another entry..

So Happy Birthday again Pop! Hope you & grandma are celebrating in style!

Happy 4th of July!

Happy 4th of July friends! I hope you're enjoying the day! I wish I could say I had lots of plans, but I'll be at work from 12-8. Don't you worry though, Mac & I grilled last night in the kitchen. Enjoy the day!

Why we haven't gotten married

Lately a lot of people have asked why Mac & I haven't gotten married yet. We've been together almost 7 years and engaged almost 5. Most people find it odd that we're in no hurry to "tie the knot". I feel like I owe an explanation on why we haven't done it..yet.

Our reasons:

• We just don't see the point in getting a piece of paper to 'complete' our relationship. We have been together for (almost) 7 years and we feel married. We plan to be together forever, but we just don't see why getting that on paper really matters.
• We feel that once couples get married things turn sour. We've been together so long & things this way are great. I feel like if we got married, things would start turning bad for us. 

I believe in long term commitment not necessarily marriage.  It will happen one day, but not anytime soon. I think once we have kids it would be the right thing to do, but for right now, we're happy exactly how we are.  

ps. When we do get married. It will be on a beach & will look similar to this! <3

What is your favorite store to shop at? Target seems to be the place lately. Forever 21 & Love Culture are also my faves. Whatever is cheap is where I go.

I'm not sure because I'm not a designer brand type of gal.
