It being a good year. We've had several bad years and I refuse for this to be one of them.

nine\If you could meet anyone, past or present, who would it be? Why? Princess Diana. I always loved her when I was younger. I'd like to see if she was an genuine as people made her out to be.

five\ What story does your family always tell about you?  Dad used to tell people how I got the nickname Monkey as a kid. (used to climb all over the furniture)

eight\ What's one thing you regret? Do you have regrets? Being more social in High School. So many times I would just stay home instead of hanging out with friends and it resulted in me not having many high school friends anymore.

Guest Post #3 Rebekah

My third & final guest post is from Rebekah from Life With the Edwards.  She's another one of my favorite bloggers on here.  I'm glad that she was able to post for me as I asked her last minute!

Hi there!  I'm Rebekah from Life With The Edwards and I'm so excited that Jamie asked me to guest post for her. 

 

For those of you who don't know me, I'm 23 years old, married to my love who is an officer in the Air Force, an Oklahoma girl living in California and trying to figure out this military life!  I blog about pretty much everything.  Mainly what's going on in our little life!

 

With the New Year, I've been thinking a lot about our life.  Where we're going, what we'll do, and so on.  I'm a born planner.  I'm always thinking of the next step and with military life, I've learned that I can't plan a lot.  My husband loves that.  He says this is good for me because I need to just "chill" and let life take us where it takes us.

 

So this year, I'm going to just "bloom where I'm planted".  This year is going to bring about things I didn't think we were quite ready for, but I'm choosing to look forward to the unknown.  I can't live life afraid of what might happen this year.  I could miss out on so many opputurnities! 

 

For the first time in my life, I'm excited about not knowing what's going to happen.  It's a strange feeling for this girl, but it's quite thrilling!  We had so many plans last year and while those were all well and good, I think we need a year like this.  No expectations.  We have a few goals that we want to accomplish this year, but we can't wait to see where this year takes us. 

 

I want to find happiness in all things and not worry about what could happen.  Life is just too short to not enjoy every aspect of it!  I don't want to just live for the future.  I want to live for the NOW!

 

So my question for you is, are you blooming where you're planted?  Making plans for the future are all well and good, but are you living for today?   

I loved Rebekah's post! Mac & I never really try and make plans for our future because if it doesn't happen we'd be disappointed, but we do talk about things we'd like to do and if it happens it happens.  Thank you so much Rebekah for  doing this post for me!

First off, I want to thank Jamie for asking me to guest post for her while she's busy with the move, it's such an honor. However, I pity her. I hate moving. Hate it. So much in fact that when I returned home from college I vowed I wasn't moving again until I turned 30. I almost made it too. I was 27 when I finally moved into my own place. I like the unpacking part. I like to put things out and decorate and rearrange. I don't even really mind the packing it all up. What I hate is carrying all the boxes to the truck unloading the boxes and carrying up the stairs or whatever. It's just so so tiring. 

Now, I promise I will not move until my 'family' gets too big to live in my apartment. However, if I was moving somewhere that included any one of these features I jump at the chance.

First I want to say Happy New Years! Hope everyone had a wonderful time and are enjoying your day.  I'm moving today, but I have my dear friend Nikki here to fill in for me while I'm gone. She used to blog, but recently deleted her blogger, which makes me sad. But enough talking, here's Nikki!

Hello friends! Happy New Year! I hope that everyone had a healthy and safe holiday season! My name is Nikki.

I used to blog. I have recently deleted my blog because of some personal reasons. I hope to get back into it eventually. 

When Jamie asked me to guest post for her I was super excited! At first I had no clue what to write about. To be honest as I am sitting here I STILL have no clue what to write about. I figure lemme just start to write and see where it goes right? 

I meet Jaime through blogging. We are both born and raised Jersey Girls. When I stumbled upon Jaimes blog I immediately started to follow her based only on the fact that we both live in Jersey. We started to email back and forth and now we text on a almost daily bias. It is really amazing the way two people can connect because of something so small as blogging. When I had my blog up and running I even had Jamie guest post for me. 

Because of this little blog of Jamies we have formed a awesome friendship and I can honestly say that I see us being friends for a long time coming. I also know that I can tell her anything and she will not judge me and I know that she knows that she can tell me anything and I will not judge her. 

I can not wait to meet Jamie face to face and go shopping. Heck we are only a hop skip and a jump away from each other!

With that said ladies take the time to really get to know the people who you are following and seeing into their world. You never know who you will meet!
